All small business owners with an LV= business protection policy have access to the free LV= Business Care service, which currently provides a 24/7 legal advice line for issues such as employment law, commercial contracts, and health and safety.
LV= is now extending the Business Care offering to provide business owners with access to business tax and VAT experts who can advise on a range of areas, including tax and VAT relief, self-assessment tax returns, and paying dividends from limited companies. The experts will be available over the phone, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
Mike Farrell, Head of LV= Protection Sales, said:
“Small businesses spend a lot of time and effort dealing with red tape, legislation and regulatory issues. Following changes to the VAT threshold and tax free allowances for the self-employed in last week’s Budget, business owners may have questions as to what this means for them. LV= Business Care provides small business owners with free access to experts who can help deal with these issues, and allow them to focus on running the business.
“We are committed to working with advisers to grow the business protection market and we believe this benefit will help advisers demonstrate the value and relevance of these policies.”
