Loan.co.uk acquires majority stake in Only Bridging
Loan.co.uk announced that they have taken a majority controlling stake of Only Bridging, the second mortgage, bridging, development and commercial finance brokerage.
In the past six months, Loan.co.uk has opened additional offices in Northern Ireland and Cardiff and this now takes them to 4 regional offices across the UK. They have two more acquisitions in the pipeline for the first half of 2017.
Only Bridging is a multi-award winning second mortgage, bridging, development and commercial finance brokerage located in North London. Only Bridging will also become an additional regional office within the Loan.co.uk infrastructure, further increasing the company’s presence, reach and service in the bridging, development and commercial finance sector.
Loan.co.uk CEO Paul McGerrigan said:
“This is a very exciting acquisition. We have known Andrea Juniper for a long time and the experience, knowledge, lender relationships and expertise she and her team bring is a huge benefit to our business and the growing base of introducers. Only Bridging is a well-established, awarding winning brand which we will steadily invest in. In 2017 we will continue our aggressive growth though organic and acquisitive activity.”
Andrea Juniper, Only Bridging Managing Director, said:
“This is an incredibly exciting time for the team and I. I have known Paul and the senior management team of Loan.co.uk for many years. I know they share my ambition and passion for this sector of the market and I’m delighted I can bring my experience and expertise and be a part of making the ongoing growth plans a reality. The synergies were immediately obvious to me and we are already seeing the benefits in distribution, technology, marketing and compliance support.”
