LendInvest strengthens development finance team with three new hires
The portfolio management team expands with the appointments of three new managers.
LendInvest has announced three new appointments to its property development finance team as the business increases support for SME developers in England, Scotland and Wales.
The portfolio management team expands with the appointments of Matt Freeman as senior portfolio manager, alongside portfolio managers Keisi Morina and Andrew Ferguson, strengthening the lender’s credit underwriting, legal due diligence, and financial analysis.
The trio will enhance the firm’s capacity to structure bespoke development facilities, navigate market complexities, and deliver robust, institutional-grade portfolio management.
The new portfolio managers join a development finance team backed on the origination side by relationship manager Dan Lohn, who brings over a decade of experience in UK development finance.
Dan Lohn, relationship manager at LendInvest, said: “A property development deal is only as strong as the people behind it, no matter how good the terms look on paper. Matt, Keisi and Andrew each bring something genuinely different to how we assess and manage risk, and that range means SME developers get sharp and more considered decisions at every stage, not just a faster “yes”.
"This level of partnership is exactly what SME developers across England, Scotland and Wales deserve, and it reflects LendInvest’s commitment to backing the sector and driving Britain’s housing delivery forward.”
Ross Bennett, director of operations at LendInvest, commented: "Development finance is a sector where the quality of the team behind a deal matters as much as the terms of the facility itself. These appointments reflect LendInvest’s ongoing investment in the people who structure, monitor and deliver our development lending.
I'm confident SME developers and brokers will feel the benefit of that depth, particularly through greater certainty, sharper execution and proactive support across every stage of a build.”
