This new partnership will provide access to Search Acumen clients, as the online service becomes more widely available through this year.
My Legal Indemnity Shop has been developed by DUAL Asset Underwriting and gives residential conveyancers a choice of legal indemnity quotes from a panel of insurers including RSA, Elite, and XL Catlin.
Conveyancers can review quotes for up to forty products, including common requirements for property transactions in England and Wales such as Chancel Repair, Building Regulations Consent and Search Indemnities.
Having made their selection, conveyancers can combine up to four products under a single quote without needing to arrange separate policies. Bespoke policies are available for anyone requiring more than four products to be rolled into one.
Andrew Lloyd, Managing Director of Search Acumen, commented:
“Our new partnership with DUAL furthers our commitment to think ahead and make life even simpler for conveyancers wherever we can. Searches are only one part of their job, and one of the challenges we repeatedly hear about is the time it takes for them to scour the web for legal indemnity quotes.
“With this new tool, they can move seamlessly from ordering their searches to gain quick and easy access to a wide range of competitive quotes, which are combined into one to suit their needs – all in a matter of a few clicks. It all adds up to a simple, headache-free experience which frees up valuable time and delivers a positive experience with minimum fuss.”
