Leeds BS expands broker engagement team

Andy Alvarez Leeds

Andy Alvarez has joined Leeds Building Society as national intermediary development manager to develop the Society’s broker relations and enhance its service for intermediaries across the UK.

Andy joins the Society with 25 years’ experience in the industry. Over the years, he has held senior positions with Morgan Stanley, Nationwide, Mansfield Building Society, and Vida Homeloans. Most recently, he served as the head of division for partner finance at St James's Place.

As part of his new role at Leeds Building Society, Andy will be responsible for the delivery of the sales strategy for intermediary mortgages and managing the field-based relationship management team in the South of England and Northern Ireland.

Andy said: “I’ve long admired the way that Leeds puts its purpose at the heart of everything, and is laser-focused on putting homeownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.

“I am excited to work alongside the talented colleagues who are driving the business forward, and look forward to building and developing teams within the mortgage distribution function.
