Data entry will flow between both systems, allowing advisers to check all later life lenders’ criteria before moving into product sourcing, or vice versa, starting with product sourcing which can then be checked to see if the criteria matches.

Advisers can also refer to specialists in the sector if they are not qualified to provide advice in one part of the later life market, which can be done automatically following the entry of client data.

The announcement follows last week’s launch of a new version of the Air Sourcing platform for later life advisers which is now home to Air Group’s range of propositions including Air Mortgage Club, Air Later Life Academy, Air Packaging and Air Rewards.

Stuart Wilson, chief executive officer of AIR Group, commented: “This is one of the most significant announcements and agreements in the later life lending sector as it indicates the joint ambition of both firms to deliver the very best tools and technology integration on an exclusive basis. We are incredibly excited to be working with the multi-award-winning team at Knowledge Bank, led by Nicola. Air Group has spent many weeks ensuring that this launch brings a huge variety of benefits to our mutual member firms and seamlessly joins our two dynamic systems together in a market-leading strategic alliance.”

Nicola Firth, CEO and founder of Knowledge Bank, added: “We are very pleased to be working with Air Sourcing to bring together a true ‘best of breed’ solution for later life lending sourcing. This collaboration brings together criteria and product in a truly unique way. We have worked closely with Stuart and his team to ensure that every aspect has been considered from the adviser’s point of view and with our collective experience in the market, we are confident this will be, without doubt, the platform of choice for advisers in the later life lending sector.”
