Independent Growth Finance hires new commercial director
Commercial finance provider, Independent Growth Finance, has appointed Matt Shepherd as its new commercial director.
"I’m looking forward to increasing IGF’s national presence and the continued growth of the sales team."
Matt comes to IGF with nearly 20 years experience in finance, with a focus on business development and asset based lending, including previous roles at CYBG, previously Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank.
Prior to that, Matt spent eight years heading up business development for RBS Invoice Finance in London and the South East.
In his new role, Matt will help the team reach a wider audience across the whole of the UK, helping the sales team to deliver more as well as developing new regional markets for IGF.
IGF works with businesses with a turnover of £1 million to £100 million with finance provided predominately on a secured basis against receivables, inventory, plant & machinery and property.
Matt Shepherd commented: "I’ve been incredibly impressed by the partnership, speed of delivery and flexibility IGF provides in order for its clients to grow. I’m looking forward to increasing IGF’s national presence and the continued growth of the sales team.”
