Hornbuckle launches commercial property purchase service
Hornbuckle has today announced the launch of a new commercial property service, offering a fast track purchase and administration process for tenanted, single-lease properties.
Signature, a product designed in conjunction with Hornbuckle’s expert panel, represents a new development in the SIPP and commercial property market, and confirms their position as frontrunners in the field.
The new service uses standardised documentation, expert specialists and integrated IT to deliver speed and value to clients. It allows clients and advisers to independently assess whether their proposed property purchase is eligible for Signature, while providing the indicative purchase and insurance cost, as well as providing links to required documentation.
Hornbuckle’s MD and Head of Proposition Patrick Van de Steen, said:
“An increasing number of owner-occupiers are looking to secure value-for-money when purchasing a property, so we delighted to be able to meet that need with Signature. Using this service, clients will experience ease of use, transparency and value for money. With Signature, no time or money is wasted. We called it Signature because, after initial decisions by the client, all that is required is a signature.”
To coincide with the launch, Hornbuckle has also announced the creation of a panel of property experts in the fields of conveyancing, insurance and property management. The panel will develop innovative purchase and administration services for commercial property in pension plans. Hornbuckle and specialist property consultant, Lambert Smith Hampton, have secured a further agreement whereby LSH will assume the day-to-day administration activities for all Hornbuckle properties.
Van de Steen adds:
“Commercial property is and remains a key asset class for clients and advisers. The combination of these quality partnerships ensures that we can deliver the best service and innovation at the pension and property level for our clients. We are delighted to be working with such a distinguished panel of partners.”
Chris Berry, director at LSH, said:
“We are developing a strong track record in the self-invested pensions market, bringing experience, knowledge and understanding of the legislation and regulation specific to the industry. We look forward to drawing on this and our extensive regional office network to provide a market-leading administration service and management advice to Hornbuckle and its clients.”
