Hitachi Capital appoints Head of SME and Personal Leasing
Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, the provider of tailor made fleet finance and management services for businesses across the UK, has appointed Chris Tubbs as Head of SME and Personal Leasing channel.
Chris joins Hitachi Capital from Network Vehicles, LeasePlan’s specialist brand of Network franchisees providing leasing products for small businesses and individuals, where he held the position of brand director having been with the company since 1996. During his time there, Chris has also managed the technical and remarketing teams as well as heading up the risk team.
Hitachi Capital hope that Chris will use his 25 years of experience in the leasing sector to develop the SME and Personal Leasing channel for both the direct and indirect business.
On his appointment, Chris comments:
“This is such an exciting time to join Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions following the recent investment in system capability for our broker partners. Hitachi is such a well-known and trusted brand with both small businesses and the public, this is a winning formula”.
Jon Lawes, managing director of Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, comments:
“I am delighted to have Chris on board, he brings a wealth of experience in this channel along with experience in Asset Risk, Credit Risk and Operations Management. With the plans we have to grow with our partners in the broker channel it was important to bring someone in with this depth of experience.”
