Andy Reid has been appointed as Head of Business Development at Hampshire Trust Bank. Andy will work alongside Colin Bell, Managing Director Commercial Mortgages, and Anna Lewis, Head of Production, who were appointed by the bank earlier this year.
It follows the announcement last week that Hampshire Trust Bank is launching into the bridging sector.
Colin said: “The Commercial Mortgages team will soon commence sourcing new business and start lending. I am very excited at the prospect and with the team that is in place at Hampshire Trust Bank I believe we will have a compelling proposition to introduce to the market.
“Hampshire Trust Bank prides itself on employing experts in its chosen sectors. Andy is well respected in the introducer arena where he is extremely well liked and well-connected and will be an invaluable addition to our growing team.”
Prior to joining Hampshire Trust Bank, Andy, who has more than 27 years’ experience in the financial and mortgage sectors, was National Key Account and Relationship Manager at InterBay Commercial.
Talking about why he decided to join Hampshire Trust Bank, Andy said: “It was time for a change. I wanted to find a lender that shared my desire to offer specialist financing with great customer service to the introducers and therefore to the end borrower. I am very excited for the future at Hampshire Trust Bank.”
