Halifax launches sub-4% remortgage rates with cuts of up to 0.34%
The lender has also trimmed purchase rates by up to 0.09%.
Halifax has announced rate reductions across its purchase and remortgage ranges.
Homebuyer rates have seen reductions of up to 0.09%, with larger cuts of up to 0.34% across its remortgage products.
In Halifax's remortgage range, a 1.5-year fixed rate at 85% LTV is down by 24bps to 4.52% with a £1,499 fee.
In its two-year remortgage range, 60% LTV rates are down by up to 34bps and now start from 3.79% with a £1,999 fee, 4.04% with a £999 fee, and 4.51% fee-free.
A three-year fix at 60% LTV is down by 0.23% to 4.05% with a £999 fee.
Five-year fixed rates have reduced by up to 0.32%, now starting from 3.88% at 60% LTV with a £1,999 fee, 3.98% with a £999 fee, and 4.19% fee-free.
10-year remortgage rates at 60% LTV are down by 24bps, available at 4.59% with a £999 fee and 4.76% fee-free.
Halifax follows other high street lenders including HSBC and Barclays, which both launched sub-4% products this week.
