Richard has over 20 years senior management experience in financial services covering: sales, marketing, operations, and IT. Previously he has worked in various roles at Huntswood Outsourcing, Marlborough Stirling, C&G, HML, RBS and most recently, as managing director of Independent Business Consultants.
He has previously worked on various projects with Phoebus Software in a consultancy capacity.
Paul Hunt, managing director of Phoebus Software, said:
“Richard is a perfect hire for us. 90% of Phoebus’s staff have a background in the mortgage industry and we spend a lot of time working as consultants to the wider mortgage market, rather than simply as experts in lender IT.
"Richard will help us do that better than ever. He has extensive experience in the market place, a strong knowledge base, and a great network of contacts that will help push our sales forward.”
Richard Pike, said:
“I’ve worked with many mortgage software providers so I know how good Phoebus is within the market. The company has proven software to support originations and servicing and the consultancy side of the business has huge potential.
"Not only are the IT experts and consultants at Phoebus hugely experienced, this is also one of the only software providers who is prepared to put its money where its mouth is when it comes to research and development.
"Phoebus spends more than 25% of its turnover on R&D every year, and it’s that commitment to excellence that attracted me to the business.”
