“We’re delighted to have Clare on board.
"Clare has substantial experience in the residential property industry across all avenues of sales, conveyancing and the new homes market, which will enhance and complement the strength of our Scottish Land & New Homes team with its unrivalled proposition for developers of all scales and links to the UK’s largest estate agency and lettings network.
Having worked in the property industry for over 12 years, Clare has held a number of positions. Her career started at leading Scottish estate and lettings agent Slater Hogg & Howison, before moving to Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre.
Most recently, Clare has held a number of positions within the Sequence Group, including Valuer, Branch Manager and most recently, Area Manager within the business.
Clare Horne, Scotland Area Director for Countrywide Land & New Homes, said:
“I am thrilled to be joining Countrywide. The Land & New Homes department is a prominent player in the industry, helping developers and builders throughout the UK.
“The Scottish new homes industry has experienced one of its most challenging periods in recent years and is now turning a corner with the many initiatives in place and I believe Countrywide is best placed to support these and local and national developers. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
As the UK’s largest new homes agent, Countrywide Land & New Homes offer clients of all scale and sizes an unrivalled ‘one stop’ solution.
It also forms part of Countrywide, the UK’s largest estate agency and property services group, allowing the team to utilise the 1300 estate agency and lettings branches across the country.
Earlier this year, Countrywide and CBRE signed a UK-wide agreement to utilise both CBRE’s commercial property expertise and Countrywide’s position as a leader in the UK residential property market.
One of the key client benefits is the unparalleled insight offered by both CBRE and Countrywide, as part of the joint venture will be combining the resources of Countrywide, the UK’s largest residential property services group, which operates the widest network of new homes, estate agency and lettings, with CBRE’s market-leading capability in residential-led mixed-use development.
