Blemain Group manager to take Iron Man challenge
Lorenzo Satchell, the divisional sales manager for Blemain Group hasconfirmed his participation in this year’s Iron Man 70.3 challenge, in aid of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospit
On 17 June, Lorenzo will take on a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle, finishing with a 13.1 mile run. As well as the physical barriers he’ll have to overcome, Lorenzo has set the personal target of raising £3,000 for the charity.
Not to be phased by his busy schedule supporting the Blemain Group’s extensive network of intermediaries in the South of England and Wales, the 41 year old has decided to take on one of the most gruelling amateur sporting challenges in the country.
Training for the event requires extreme discipline and perseverance and Lorenzo is well underway with his vigorous training schedule to optimise his agility and strength.
Lorenzo says:
“The training is hard and fast and requires a copious amount of discipline, focus, determination and time. But it’s worth every moment considering the cause I am raising money for”.
Jenny Clarke, Corporate and Individual Fundraising Manager at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity commented:
"We hope Lorenzo enjoys taking part in the Iron Man challenge and hope that the difference his support will make will help to spur him to the finish line."
Iron Man 70.3 takes place on Sunday 17 June at Wimbleball Lake, Dulverton, Brompton Regis.
