“Assurant Intermediary has certainly lived up to its promise of being an expert in the intermediary market since joining our B&C panel this year. Its B&C products are some of the most competitive in the market which has undoubtedly helped it achieve a leading position on our panel.
“What has really set it apart from the rest, however, is its proactive approach. Its business development team has been highly visible, attending our events and working with our members to help them understand the product offering as well as helping them with their marketing efforts.
"The feedback from members has been outstanding and we were delighted to name Assurant Intermediary as our Best Buildings and Contents Insurance Provider.”
Assurant Intermediary sales and marketing director, Kevin Paterson, comments:
“Personal Touch Financial Services is one of the largest financial service networks in the UK with advisers throughout the country, all of whom quite rightly demand superb service and products.
"It has put together a competitive B&C panel to give its advisers access to a variety of options for their clients, and so it is hugely rewarding for our team to be named the Best Buildings and Contents Insurance Provider especially as we have been panel members for less than a year.”
Assurant Intermediary was appointed to the PTFS buildings and contents insurance panel in April 2010. It plans to introduce a new range of products to the panel next year as well as a new accident, sickness and unemployment offering.
