The results were:
- Yes: 46.43%
- Maybe: 19.64%
- No: 33.93%
Steve Walker, Managing Director, Promise Solutions, says:
It is pleasing to see that most brokers are likely to consider a secured loan at the same time as a remortgage. As a sourcing technology provider we need to take this on board. However it is a worry that 1/3 of brokers don’t see the benefit which suggests they are yet to recognise the risk of not fully investigating the options available to client who wish to raise capital.
"Effective sourcing systems, which have an audit trail, are one of the few means by which brokers can be seen to do right by their clients if challenged by a speculative claims company in the future.
