Crystal Specialist Finance appoints group strategy director
Gareth was previously CEO of Ocean Finance.
Specialist distributor, Crystal Specialist Finance, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Gareth Shilton as group strategy director.
Gareth brings over 30 years of experience in financial services, having held senior roles at firms including second charge loan and mortgage business, Ocean Finance, where he was most recently CEO.
Gareth brings a wealth of experience to his new position from earlier roles, which include sales manager, underwriting manager, chief operating officer, chief executive officer and ultimately director of Ocean Finance.
He has worked closely with Crystal in a consultancy capacity since 2019 and now joins the business in a formal leadership role.
In his role as group strategy director, Gareth will focus on identifying opportunities for business improvement and operational efficiencies, supporting Crystal’s long-term sustainability and commercial development.
