conveybuddy hires regional director for London and South East

conveybuddy has appointed Chris Smith (pictured) as regional director for London and the South East as the conveyancing distributor expands its adviser facing team.

Smith will be responsible for developing relationships with mortgage advisers and advisory businesses across the region, alongside providing support to existing users of the conveybuddy platform.

He has previously worked in the intermediary mortgage market at Platform and The Co operative Bank and previously worked alongside conveybuddy CEO Harpal Singh at mortgage packager Optoma.

In his new role, Smith will work with advisory firms across London and the South East, supporting advisers on conveyancing options for different types of cases and the use of conveybuddy's platform to track transactions following instruction.

The appointment follows conveybuddy's second anniversary, after the business launched in September 2024.

Since then, the firm has expanded its conveyancing panel and introduced survey instructions and an all inclusive remortgage proposition.
