Castle Trust Bank restructures bridging range with rate cuts and new exit options
Castle Trust Bank has launched new light refurbishment sale exit bridging products, reduced pricing across selected refurbishment lines, and introduced a valuation fee refund of up to £750 on completion for eligible cases.
Castle Trust Bank has announced that it has launched the first in a series of enhancements to its bridging range, with new products, rate reductions, a valuation fee incentive, and restructured case handling likely to be of immediate interest to brokers active in the refurbishment space.
New light refurbishment sale exit products have been added to the range, giving brokers more options when placing cases where the client's exit strategy is a property sale. Pricing has also been cut across selected light and heavy refurbishment products, though the bank has not disclosed the specific rate movements.
Brokers placing eligible light refurbishment cases can now access a valuation fee refund of up to £750 on completion, offering a tangible cost offset on qualifying transactions.
The more significant operational change concerns case handling. Dedicated case managers are now aligned to individual underwriters, a structural shift the bank says is intended to maintain momentum through the application process and reduce the friction that can slow complex bridging cases.
Anna Lewis, commercial director at Castle Trust Bank, said: "Bridging is a market where speed, flexibility and certainty can make a real difference, so we are continually looking at how we can make our proposition work harder for brokers and their clients.
"These latest enhancements combine greater product choice and more competitive pricing with a valuable incentive and further improvements to the way we process cases. Aligning dedicated case managers with our underwriters will help us maintain momentum throughout an application and provide brokers with the support they need to get cases moving quickly.
She added: "There's a lot to talk about across the new range, so I'd encourage brokers to speak to their BDM about the changes and discuss how we can support their individual cases. And we're not stopping here. We have more enhancements in the pipeline that we look forward to sharing soon."
