Buckinghamshire BS appoints telephone BDM
Georgia will work closely with the field-based BDMs to support intermediaries.

Buckinghamshire Building Society has strengthened its intermediary team with the appointment of Georgia Smith as a telephone business development manager (TBDM).
Georgia has worked in various roles at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society over the past seven years. During this time, she honed her skills in sales management, broker communication, and business development.
As a TBDM, Georgia will serve as the first point of contact for brokers, offering guidance on Buckinghamshire Building Society’s product range. She will assist with applications, provide up-to-date product insights, and ensure brokers have the support they need to deliver the best possible outcomes for their clients.
Buckinghamshire Building Society specialises in a range of mortgages — from prime residential to niche areas like multi-generational lending, retirement-focused products, holiday lets, and buy-to-let.
Claire Askham, head of mortgage sales at Buckinghamshire Building Society, commented: “We’re proud to welcome Georgia to our growing intermediary team. Her experience and enthusiasm will be a fantastic asset, and we know she’ll make a real difference to the brokers we work with. At Buckinghamshire Building Society, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional support, and bringing in top industry talent like Georgia helps us continue delivering the personalised service our brokers rely on.”
Georgia Smith added: “I’m passionate about building strong relationships and helping brokers find the right solutions, so I’m really looking forward to joining Claire and the rest of the team at Buckinghamshire Building Society. They genuinely value broker relationships, and with my experience working in the intermediary market, I understand the challenges they face. I’m keen to offer the support and guidance they need to improve their experience and place more business with us.”
