Barclays cuts residential and buy-to-let rates by up to 0.43%
Rates have reduced for both new and existing borrowers.
Barclays is reducing rates by up to 0.43% across its residential and buy-to-let purchase and remortgage ranges for both new and existing borrowers.
The changes are effective from tomorrow, Wednesday 20th December.
In its residential purchase only range, including new build, two-year fixed rates now start from 4.60% at 60% LTV for a Premier product with an £899 product fee.
Also at 60% LTV, two-year fixes have reduced to 4.62% with an £899 product fee and 4.76% fee-free, while 75% LTV two-year fixes are down to 4.70% with an £899 fee and 4.86% fee-free.
In Barclays' 95% LTV Mortgage Guarantee Scheme range, a two-year fixed rate is reducing to 5.80% and a five-year fix to 6.67%, both fee-free.
For remortgage only, a Premier two-year fix at 60% LTV has reduced to 4.64%, a standard two-year fix is down to 4.69%, and a 75% LTV two-year fix is decreasing to 4.77%, all with a £999 fee.
In its buy-to-let range, purchase rates have reduced to 6.18% fixed for two years and 5.22% fixed for five years, both available at 75% LTV with a £1,295 fee. Its green home buy-to-let products are 10bps lower than the standard equivalents.
For buy-to-let remortgage, two-year fixed rates now start from 6.30% at 60% LTV with no product fee and from 6.26% at 75% LTV with a £1,795 fee. Five-year fixed rate reductions include a 60% LTV product at 5.33% with no fee, and 75% LTV rates from 5.10% with a £1,795 fee and 5.38% fee-free.
Barclays has also reduced rates across its existing customer Reward range.
For residential borrowers, one-year fixed rates now start from 4.81% at 60% LTV and 4.92% at 75% LTV, both fee-free.
Two-year fixed rate Reward products now start from 4.64% at 60% LTV with a £999 product fee and 4.81% fee-free, while 75% LTV rates have reduced to 4.77% and 4.92% respectively. At 70% LTV, a two-year fix has reduced to 4.80% and a five-year fix to 4.32%, both with a £1,999 fee.
For existing buy-to-let customers, two-year fixed rates with no fee have reduced to 6.15% at 65% LTV and 6.19% at 75% LTV.
Five-year fixed rate buy-to-let products at 65% LTV have reduced to 5.09% with a £1,795 fee and 5.33% fee-free. At 75% LTV, rates are decreasing to 5.10% with a £1,795 fee and 5.38% fee-free.
At 60% LTV, two-year fixed rates have reduced to 6.30% and five-year fixes to 5.90%, both with a £1,795 fee.
For LTVs over 75%, two-year fixed rates are down to 6.40% and five-year fixes to 5.71%, both fee-free.
