Barclays cuts mortgage rates by up to 0.40%
85% and 95% LTV residential rates have reduced, alongside selected remortgage products.
Barclays has reduced rates across its residential purchase and remortgage range by up to 0.40%.
Available from tomorrow, 14th August, two-year fixed rates at 85% LTV have reduced to 4.12% with an £899 product fee and 4.43% fee-free. At 95% LTV, a two-year fix has reduced from 5.05% to 4.88% with no fee.
Five-year fixes at 85% LTV have reduced to 4.12% with an £899 fee and 4.23% fee-free, with a 95% LTV rate down to 4.80% with no fee.
In Barclays' green home range, two and five-year fixed rates at 85% LTV are down to 4.02% with an £899 fee.
For remortgage, a two-year fix at 85% LTV has decreased by 36bps to 4.39% and a five-year fix is down by 40bps to 4.20%, both with a £999 fee.
A Great Escape five-year fix at 85% LTV with no product fee has also reduced by 30bps to 4.40% with no fee.
In the bank's product range for both purchase and remortgage, two-year fixed rates have reduced to 3.94% at 70% LTV and 4.01% at 75% LTV, both with a £1,999 product fee.
For existing customers, selected two and five-year fixed rates at 85% LTV have seen reductions of up to 11bps. A two-year fix has decreased to 4.39% with a £999 fee, while five-year fixes are down to 4.20% with a £999 fee and 4.40% fee-free.
