B2B SMEs favoured for government grants
Central Finance, has recently supported graphic print solutions company Andesign, grow & redesign their business thanks to a Government Grant.
Andesign took advantage of the current economy and business development opportunities and called on Central Finance to help source finance their big ideas by accessing over £ 120,000 of Governmental grants to grow the business and invest in new machinery.
Andy Williams, managing director at Andesign said:
“Thanks to Steve and the team at Central Finance, our ideas to grow the business, employ more staff, improve our service offering, engage with bigger clients and bring more business to the Midlands can now be put into place.
“It’s very exciting to be a business owner right now, especially here in the Midlands where we have so many opportunities to grow. For me, hiring more people, moving premises and growing our business is a significant achievement for us and it’s all down to grant funding.”
Steve Harris, director at Central Finance adds:
“Working with Andesign to achieve their financial aims to grow their business, provide jobs to local people and attract new business has been both enjoyable and challenging.
“Even in a recovering and booming economy, commercial finance is a complex market and achieving a grant of this size for Andesign needed significant experience of grant finding.”
Businesses in Birmingham and the West Midlands, specifically Business to Business SME’s are currently considered favourable choices for Government Grants, and Central Finance have helped over 50 business in 2014 access a number of grants, supporting the regional economic development for Birmingham and The West Midlands and providing a strong, sustainable future through significant job creation.
Andy concludes:
“Grants can be difficult to obtain and extremely time consuming, so for us we had to talk to specialists to take on the grant application from start to finish – which actually took just a month using Central Finance.
“We were confident with their application on our behalf as they have an incredible track record in grant finding and submissions. We were very impressed with their knowledge of the commercial finance market and their understanding of each grant type and the criteria. All we have to do now is continue with our growth plans, transition into our new premises and start recruiting.”
