Aspen creates director of underwriting role
Saif first joined Aspen as part of the underwriting team in 2019.
Aspen has promoted Saif Khalique to a newly established director of underwriting role.
Saif initially joined through Aspen’s graduate recruitment scheme as part of the underwriting team in December 2019.
In 2023, he joined the management team and has since assisted with the development of the underwriting team, taking on the role of head of underwriting in February 2024 following the completion of his Masters in Real Estate & Finance.
As a director, his new responsibilities will include both the day-to-day operation and management of the underwriting team, strategic input and process enhancement and the organisation of wider training.
Jack Coombs, chief operating officer at S&U PLC, parent company of Aspen, said: “Saif’s promotion is very well deserved, we welcome him to the Aspen board and look forward to seeing the far-reaching contribution he will surely make in driving and improving the business through our next exciting growth phase.”
