Andy has also held senior roles at Barclays and RBS, where he worked across corporate banking, relationship management and credit risk.
His experience spans structuring funding facilities for property investors and developers, managing complex lending relationships and delivering solutions suited to customers’ individual circumstances and ambitions.
Azfar Rizvi, commercial director for corporate and commercial lending at Aldermore, commented: "We're delighted to welcome Andy to the CRE team. His extensive experience across property development finance, commercial banking and credit risk will be a real asset to our team and, importantly, to the customers and brokers we support.

Andy’s appointment further strengthens our capabilities in this area and reflects our ambition to support more customers in bringing high-quality projects to life."
Andy Porter said: "Having spent many years working closely with property investors and developers, I was attracted to Aldermore’s relationship-led approach and its commitment to providing long-term support.
