The Grade II listed 12,500 square feet manor house is in need of extensive refurbishment work both internally and externally to bring it back to its former grandeur. Originally constructed in 1145, as a priory, it was later converted to a family residence in 1540 and reconstructed to its current layout in 1825.

Alan Cleary, Managing Director of Precise Mortgages commented:

“This was definitely one of the most unusual properties we have provided finance for and the team at Precise Mortgages and 3mc worked hard to bring the deal to completion for the introducing broker.  Gareth Lewis Director of Bridging even visited the property on the day of completion to ensure the deal completed on time.”

Doug Hall, Deputy Managing Director of 3mc added:

“Precise Mortgages is a leader in the specialist mortgage market with many examples of cases such as this one whereby their team takes a proactive approach to getting the job done!”

Andrew Nicolaides, Director of Elite Mortgage Finance, the mortgage brokerage, added:

“Being able to search from the whole market of high street and specialist lenders, we felt that Precise Mortgages was the best option for our client.  Not only did they assist in lending £1.6m on this beautiful manor house but were offering a very competitive rate at a loan to value which matched our client’s needs.  We worked closely with all parties during the whole process to make sure this ran as smoothly as possible for the client.”
