White Rose Finance appoints relationship and project support manager
Claire will support existing relationships and help to ensure appointed representatives have access to the resources they need to develop their businesses.
White Rose Finance Group has appointed Claire Mitchell as relationship and project support manager, strengthening the support available to brokers across its appointed representative network.
Claire joins from TransUnion, where she spent two years as a key account manager, helping clients provide consumers with access to credit data and insights. Before this, she spent five years at alternative lender Reward Finance, gaining experience in secured lending to SMEs.
In her new role, Claire will work closely with White Rose’s broker network, supporting existing relationships and helping to ensure appointed representatives have access to the resources they need to develop their businesses.
She will also support the development of Lender Hub V3, the group’s in-house commercial finance sourcing platform, including work to integrate the system with lenders’ APIs to improve the accuracy and availability of lending information.
John Kent, managing director of White Rose Finance Group, said: “Claire brings a great deal of experience to White Rose, having worked on both the lending and credit information sides of the industry. That gives her a good understanding of the challenges brokers face and the importance of having the right support in place when they’re trying to get deals over the line.
“We’ve always been quite clear that growing the network isn’t simply about increasing the number of brokers we have. It’s about attracting the right people and making sure we’re giving them the tools and support to build successful businesses. As we continue to grow, having experienced people like Claire working closely with our members becomes increasingly important.
“She’ll also have an important part to play in the next stage of Lender Hub’s development, helping us make sure the technology we’re investing in delivers practical benefits for the brokers using it.”
Claire Mitchell added: “Having spent several years working in SME lending, I know how important the relationship between brokers and lenders can be, particularly when a case needs a more individual approach. Brokers need to know they can speak to someone who understands what they’re trying to achieve and can help them find a way forward.
“That’s something I’m really looking forward to bringing to White Rose. There’s already a strong network in place, and I want to get to know the brokers, understand the challenges they’re facing and make sure they feel supported as they develop their businesses."
