Mortgage Brain has been selected by The Openwork Partnership as part of its new adviser technology suite.

Openwork and 2plan’s mortgage advisers will use Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain as part of Openwork's new technology transformation programme.

Openwork will be making Mortgage Brain’s tools available to all of their advisers through its new partnership with Plannr.

The technology update sees Openwork commit to saving advisers 60 minutes on every client case by ensuring they only enter client information “once or less” in most cases. Client details will flow between Plannr and Mortgage Brain’s modules, removing the need to re-key data or switch between systems as a case moves from research to lender decision.

As advisers migrate to the latest versions of Mortgage Brain's research and lender submission tools they will have access to decisions in principle from Halifax, Nationwide, Santander, Coventry, Leeds Building Society, Accord and TSB, alongside access to full mortgage applications via Halifax and Nationwide.

Mortgage Brain's tools cover over 98% of the market, with products updated twice daily.

Rob Askham, chief commercial officer at The Openwork Partnership, said: “We have set out to give our advisers the very best tech on the market, and we’re delighted that Mortgage Brain’s modules will be powering their mortgage research and submissions. As Mortgage Brain’s tech is embedded in Plannr, our advisers will be able to move from research, recommendation to lender decision without re-keying client data, allowing them to enter information once or less.”

Neil Wyatt, chief commercial officer at Mortgage Brain, commented: “At Mortgage Brain, we’re committed to developing the very best mortgage technology, informed by adviser testing and feedback, and designed by industry experts with hands-on experience. It means that our tools tackle the very challenges that real brokers face day-to-day. And that’s why we’re the best at what we do. Being chosen by Openwork to be part of their new best-of-breed suite is a ringing endorsement of this.”
