Shawbrook kicks off short term lending desk with new Lending Manager
David Humphrey is moving from his role as a Sales Executive on the general Commercial Mortgages sales team to the new dedicated position of Lending Manager on the recently created Short Term Loan Team.
In his new role David will be focused solely on short term loans, working to tight deadlines and making Shawbrook’s short term loan proposition more attractive to investors.
David already has strong experience in turning around enquiries in a matter of hours, while giving proposals due care and attention. He has a wealth of lending experience from his time at Shawbrook as well as 26 years at Lloyds TSB as a commercial manager working with businesses with a turnover of up to £5m.
On his new position, David commented:
“I’m excited to be part of this new team. We have a fantastic product and adding this dedicated resource will help us meet the often tight deadlines that this type of proposition normally requires. I’m looking forward to helping shape our lending appetite and really developing the product, which is such an important part of our product range.”
Lisa Crane, head of lending operations, commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank said:
“It’s great that David’s on board. His in-depth knowledge of the lending sector will be invaluable to this new team. I’m looking forward to growing the STL business at Shawbrook further with him.”
