Assurant Intermediary is already active on our ASU and buildings & contents panels, and so were delighted to extend our relationship further. It is a business that is committed to intermediaries.
"It understands the pressures they face and understands their need for quality but competitive general insurance products to add to their sales portfolio.
"We are assisting members with pre-approved letters to use with their back book customers and they have already suggested that Assurant Intermediary will allow them to provide better solutions for their clients.
Kevin Paterson, sales and marketing director at Assurant Intermediary, adds:
While the buy-to-let sector suffered tremendously during the peak of the credit crisis, it is making a recovery.
"Were delighted to now be part of the PTFS landlord panel giving its intermediaries access to competitive landlord let property insurance that they can have confidence in selling to their clients.
Assurant Intermediarys ASU products have been available to PTFS advisers since last year and it was added to the B&C panel in May 2010.
