They are now looking to recruit new members who can fill unique niches in the marketplace, thus enabling the syndicate to provide an even richer source of free impartial advice for new and existing landlords.
The founders of The Landlord Syndicate are leaders within their respective fields and together provide a wide range of complementary and non-conflicting services which support landlords.
Simon Thompson, chairman of The Landlord Syndicate and founder of Accommodation for Students, comments:
“The Syndicate was originally set up to enable founding members to support each other and benefit from working together.
"As this has strengthened our relationships throughout the industry, we have formed a strong support network for landlords and we are now looking to develop this even further.”
The free source of information available on The Landlord Syndicate’s website now includes a blog where landlords can keep in touch with the very latest news.
In addition, the site now has a forum containing the top 100 most popular landlord questions which have been written and answered by experts and will be updated regularly.
Simon adds
“The site has been designed to be clutter free, aiming to leverage the ‘experts’ knowledge to provide the most up to date and concise information, helping landlords to setup and expand their businesses and manage their current portfolios.
"Landlords can also call upon any of the associated companies for assistance, safe in the knowledge that each member follows a code of practise which promotes the highest standards.”
Current members of the syndicate include, Accommodation for Students, Total Landlord Insurance, Landlord Action, Property Portfolio Software, My Deposits, NoLettingGo, LOFT Interiors and Best Insurance.
Combined, companies from the syndicate won four awards at the coveted Landlord and Lettings Awards 2011 in the categories of Customer Service – Supplier, Software, Legal Services and Best Website - Landlords & Agents.
