This brings the AOBP’s total number of business service provider partners to 25.

The latest additions to the Association are: MHA MacIntyre Hudson, Robert Sterling Surveyors, Silk Route Legal and Davis Coffer Lyons.

The AOBP Affiliate tier houses legal professionals acting or specialising in property conveyancing, valuers, recruitment agencies and other service providers to lenders and intermediaries.

Georgina Eason, Corporate Recovery Partner at MHA MacIntyre Hudson – a nationwide accountancy and business advice firm – spoke of her decision to join the AOBP:

“I decided to join to give me the opportunity to get more involved with other professionals in the industry.  I currently work with a number of lenders who provide short-term finance, and I feel that becoming a member will increase the opportunity for referrals from my firm’s clients.  This is because I will have access to more information as a member, and a greater understanding of changes within the industry.

“Being both an Insolvency practitioner and a registered LPA Receiver, I feel that I can provide members with the necessary expertise and practical solutions when a recovery situation is looming.”

Daniel Mackernan, Associate Director of leisure property specialists at Davis Coffer Lyons, commented:

“Davis Coffer Lyons is delighted to be part of the AOBP as an Affiliate member. We see bridging finance as a key tool in the recovery of the UK economy and property market. Bridging finance has come of age over the last five years, and we are delighted to play our part in working closely to assist the highly professional and reputable members of this organisation - enabling them to deliver the highest standards of service to their customers.”

Following the highly successful Forum on April 18that the Soho Hotel, and the Association’s increased recognition within the industry, the AOBP anticipates continuing this upward trend in membership growth throughout 2013, across all Associate tiers.
