SmartSearch integrates with Clio to simplify AML compliance
Earlier this month, SmartSearch integrated with Iress to streamline AML compliance for advisers.
Digital anti-money laundering and compliance solutions provider, SmartSearch, has announced that it has integrated its platform with legal AI tech firm Clio. The collaboration aims to help law firms manage AML compliance more efficiently within their existing workflows.
Clio provides legal practice management, client intake, and CRM solutions designed to streamline operations, boost productivity, and allow legal professionals to manage their practices from a single platform. It is used by more than 200,000 legal professionals across 130 countries and is approved by over 100 bar associations and law societies.
The integration brings SmartSearch’s AML verification and monitoring tools directly into Clio, enabling firms to conduct compliance checks without leaving the platform.
Clio customers will benefit from:
Automated AML and identity checks directly within Clio
Streamlined client onboarding
Real-time compliance monitoring and data verification
Kerry Cleary, partnership director at SmartSearch, said, "Our integration with Clio marks a significant advancement in simplifying compliance for legal professionals. By embedding our digital AML solution into Clio’s platform, we empower law firms to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and maintain regulatory compliance without disrupting their daily operations.”
