Santander reduces residential rates by up to 0.25%
First-time buyer, remortgage and home mover products benefit from the latest reductions, with the return of several sub-5% rates.
Santander has reduced rates across its residential purchase and remortgage ranges by up to 0.25%, bringing several sub-5% rates back into its ranges.
In its home mover range, two-year fixed rates have reduced by up to 0.22%, with the lowest rate now at 4.92% and the largest reductions to 90% LTV rates.
Three-year fixed rates have reduced by up to 0.19%, now starting from 4.90%, with five-year rates also benefitting from reductions of up to 0.19%, starting from 4.93%.
Two-year tracker rates have seen smaller reductions, with the lowest rate now 4.23%.
First-time buyer rates have decreased by up to 0.19%, with two-year rates now starting from 5.04%, three-year rates from 5.00%, and five-year fixes from 5.03%.
Remortgage rates are down by up to 0.25%, starting from 4.08%, with the biggest reductions again made to 90% LTV product rates.
Santander has also reduced selected buy-to-let purchase and remortgage rates with a £1,749 fee by up to 0.16%, now starting from 4.89%.
Across Santander's product transfer range, selected fixed rates have increased by up to 0.14% and two-year tracker rates have reduced by up to 0.19%.
