"It's over to you!" - Brokers' Vote opens for Financial Reporter Awards
Brokers are urged to cast their votes now as the Brokers' Vote is now open for the 16th annual Financial Reporter Awards - giving the intermediary community the chance to help decide this year’s winners.
The Financial Reporter Awards programme, this year in partnership with headline sponsor Together, is designed to champion excellence in the mortgage industry and recognise the individuals and businesses setting the standard for service, innovation, and best practice.
Once again, the Awards received a record number of nominations, with readers - mortgage brokers and intermediaries from across the UK - playing a vital role in determining the final winners.
Following an initial application and nomination stage, this year’s finalists were selected by an expert judging panel. The winners in each category will now be decided by the Brokers’ Vote, made up of Financial Reporter’s readership, who will cast their votes on the shortlisted entrants.
With 27 categories to choose from, voters have a wide range of standout businesses and professionals to consider - from mortgage technology and product innovation to exceptional customer service and specialist lending expertise.
The Awards also continue to shine a light on key areas of the market, including buy-to-let broker, short-term lending broker, second charge broker and protection broker, alongside protection provider and mortgage administrator of the year.
The reader vote is open until 15th May, so make sure to have your say and choose your winners - cast your votes here.
The Financial Reporter Awards are returning to Manchester in 2026, where hundreds of nominees and industry peers will come together to celebrate another year of achievement and success in the mortgage market.
Rozi Jones, editor of Financial Reporter, said: “The Financial Reporter Awards have always been about recognising the people and businesses that go above and beyond for brokers and their clients, and we’re thrilled to be back for another record-breaking year. Every nomination reflects the strength of the mortgage industry, and it’s fantastic to see so many worthy finalists once again.
“But now it's over to you! The Brokers’ Vote remains such an important part of the Awards, because it gives our readers - the people working day-to-day with clients and seeing which businesses make the industry smoother, better or more innovative - the opportunity to have their say. We’re looking forward to seeing who you choose - and, of course, celebrating with all of our finalists and revealing the winners at this year’s event.”
