Hunnisett joins L&C Mortgages in senior team expansion
L&C Mortgages has announced two new appointments to its senior team.
L&C Mortgages has appointed Rachael Hunnisett as its new director of partnerships and communications.
Hunnisett has worked in roles spanning the mortgage lending and advice market, most recently as director of mortgage distribution at April Mortgages.
In her new role, she will lead the development of L&C’s existing partnerships while identifying new opportunities to expand L&C’s reach to a broader customer base, playing a key role in shaping the future direction of the partnership proposition. Rachael will also contribute to L&C's integrated communications and public relations strategy.
Kristina Porter has also joined the senior L&C team as its chief transformation and technology officer.
Porter brings over 20 years’ experience delivering large-scale transformation across technology, operating models, and business performance in complex, regulated environments.
Most recently, Kristina was transformation director at Worldpay, the payments technology and software company, where she led a global portfolio of strategic initiatives. Prior to that, she held senior transformation roles at Sky and Simplyhealth, where she delivered major technology and business change programmes, including operating model redesign, digital transformation, scaled agile delivery, and enterprise-wide portfolio governance.
Rachael Hunnisett commented: “I am delighted to be joining the team. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining L&C, with a huge amount of opportunity ahead. I’m passionate about building strong partnerships, bringing teams together around shared goals and, ultimately, making sure what we do delivers real value for both our customers and the business.
"I’m very much looking forward to building on the existing strengths of the business and driving forward the next phase of growth.”
Kristina Porter said: “I’m thrilled to join the L&C team and be a part of the exciting growth trajectory that the business is targeting. I’m looking forward to building on all the good work that’s already underway, as we look to underline L&C’s position as the UK’s favourite mortgage partner.
“I was particularly attracted by L&C’s commitment to putting its people at the heart of its transformation. My passion is in using technology and data to drive better customer experiences, improve productivity, and unlock growth. The focus on colleagues and customers will not only allow technology to power the business forward but also ensure that the change is managed and seamless.”
Mark Harrington, CEO of L&C, added: “I’m excited to announce the addition of Rachael and Kristina to the L&C team. L&C is at an important stage in its growth and transformation, and their experience will be key to helping shape the next phase of our development.
“Rachael’s focus on not only strengthening our existing partnerships but also driving new opportunities and Kristina’s experience in managing transformation across a broad range of businesses will be invaluable, as L&C takes the next stride forward.
“The addition of Rachael and Kristina to the team will help L&C achieve its goal of continuing to lead the way in delivering great value mortgage advice and service to our customers.”
