Established in 2009, the Financial Reporter Brokers’ Choice Awards has grown into an event like no other. After starting out in a bar in Manchester, we have grown into one of the most important events on the mortgages, protection and specialist lending calendar – one that aims to raise the bar for industry standards year-on-year.

Every year, the winners of each category are decided by our Brokers’ Vote, made up of Financial Reporter’s 21,000-strong readership voting on the shortlists carefully curated by our expert judges. This makes us the true voice of brokers across the sector, representing what really matters to the adviser community and celebrating those who are pushing to make the industry a better place for everyone.

With 27 categories to choose from, candidates have a plethora of options and can nominate themselves or others for any that they feel suit them - whether its innovations in mortgage technology, outstanding customer service levels, or an exceptional product range, we want to recognise the firms and individuals who are constantly striving to shake up the status quo...

Our expert judges - made up of individuals that live and breathe the ethos of the Financial Reporter Awards – then draw up a carefully curated shortlist of finalists, before the broker community have the final say.
