VAS launches new and improved broker dashboard
VAS says the major platform update significantly improves the user experience.
VAS, the panel manager of valuation reports for specialist lenders and challenger banks, has launched a complete overhaul of its lender and broker dashboards.
The rebuild gives lenders and brokers full oversight of their valuation pipeline in a single view, with clear prompts and actions designed to stop cases stalling.
A new 'Needs your attention' section, supported by email alerts, surfaces the instructions that require action, while users can toggle between their own cases and a company-wide view for team oversight and reporting.
The 'New Quote Request' journey has been rebuilt from the ground up, halving the time it takes to request a quote from VAS. Compliance and PVQ status is now visible on the dashboard itself, making it easy to see what needs addressing and minimising hold-ups in the process. Lenders can also distinguish at a glance between broker-instructed and lender-led valuations.
Brokers gain a real-time view of their approved lender panel, removing the need to call lenders to confirm approval before placing a case, and can see live cases grouped by lender to understand concentration across their panel.
Louise Chapman, director of product development and innovation, commented: "Our brokers and lenders told us the portal was one of the things they valued most about working with VAS, so the obvious thing to do was make it even better. Almost every change in this release traces back to something a user told us would be nice to have; we've redesigned the dashboard around that feedback, with more exciting features being released in the coming months.
“Valuation is one of the few parts of a deal where people are still routinely in the dark about what's happening and why. This release is about closing that gap. Lenders and brokers now have improved visibility and control, plus we’ve made the process faster.
"Technology solves a lot, but not everything. Our clients still have six specialist teams behind this platform, and that combination is what makes the difference on complex cases in the specialist and challenger space."
