The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has appointed Samantha Roe as its new compliance manager.
Samantha will maintain a primary point of contact for appointed representatives within her allocated area, manage the Training & Competence (T&C) programme, and ensure compliance with both company and regulatory procedures.
Her role also includes identifying business risks, supporting advisers in meeting regulatory requirements, conducting audits and reviews, coaching and monitoring individuals, and assisting with technical queries and escalations arising from file reviews.
Samantha brings over 25 years’ experience in financial services compliance and advice to the role, most recently as regional compliance manager at HLPartnership, supporting advisers across mortgages, equity release and protection, delivering compliance training, and conducting firm audits and risk reviews.
Prior to this, she spent over 15 years at Mortgage Select (SW) in a combined compliance manager and adviser role, overseeing regulatory compliance, training and competence, complaints handling, and AML processes, alongside advising on mortgages, protection and equity release.
Matt Hall, head of audit and supervision at The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Samantha to the team and to introduce her to our member firms who she will be supporting in this role. Her appointment further strengthens our compliance function and reinforces our commitment to supporting advisers in delivering positive client outcomes.
