She says:
“The next logical step was to open a dedicated lettings division in Mitcham, which will not only fill the void of a professional agent in this vast area, but fulfill the opportunities and needs from growing demand.”
The Mitcham office has undergone a complete refurbishment ahead of the opening.
Caroline adds:
“We wanted the refurbishment to not only create an enjoyable working environment but also to give us a more prominent and professional profile in the local area to match that of the calibre of applicants who are looking to rent here.”
At the current time, landlords are able to benefit from a rise in professional applicants.
"We hope that the presence of a regulated agent, that is a member of the various trade bodies such as ARLA and The Property Ombudsman, in this area, will give landlords and tenants greater peace of mind.
"Landlords looking to expand their portfolios and take advantage of the current market can look to minimise risk by opting for a fully managed service and rent guarantee product.”
To celebrate the opening of the new lettings division, Townends are offering a third off their standard fees on all instructions before the 31st July 2011.
The new lettings team at Townends in Mitcham will cover Mitcham, Morden, Colliers Wood and Tooting.
