SmartSearch acquires ID verification firm Credas
The acquisition aims to accelerate growth in digital KYC and AML compliance.
SmartSearch has agreed to acquire Credas Technologies, a provider of identity verification solutions for the legal and property sectors.
The acquisition, subject to regulatory approval, enhances SmartSearch’s position in the digital Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance markets.
By integrating Credas’ technology, SmartSearch will expand its product offering and market reach, delivering greater flexibility and value to clients across regulated industries.
Credas currently supports over 1,000 legal and property clients, streamlining onboarding and improving customer journeys.
