Shawbrook expands structured real estate team to enhance large and complex loan support
The lender has hired two senior relationship managers and an assistant relationship manager.

Shawbrook has expanded its newly formed structured real estate team with the appointment of three new hires, designed to further support property investors who require commercial and buy-to-let loans over £5m and bridging loans over £2.5m.
The new hires include senior relationship managers Karan Doshi and Tirath Singh, both with over 13 years’ experience in the property finance industry. Their expertise in originating, structuring, and executing complex transactions will strengthen Shawbrook’s team, increasing and expanding its capabilities and reach when delivering tailored funding solutions for complex portfolios.
Shawbrook also welcomes assistant relationship manager Bethany Smith who has a wealth of experience in supporting high-net worth clients in the property finance sector. Bethany will assist the team in delivering a premium case management service, offering a personalised experience to both brokers and customers.
Piragash Sivanesan, head of structured real estate at Shawbrook, commented: “I’m delighted to further enhance our structured real estate team with three fantastic new hires. Our focus as a team is to build strong relationships with both our brokers and customers to ensure we get to the heart of their needs and can support them with tailored solutions that deliver positive outcomes.
"Our new additions mean we are able to extend our lending capacity and continue to deliver a personalised service that is important when dealing with big-ticket lending. We continue to be well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our clients and help them achieve their property investment goals."
