OMS integrates Land Registry search facility
One Mortgage System has integrated the Land Registry search facility, enabling users to gather relevant information about registered property or land in England and Wales.
"The Land Registry search facility offers access to some important records which can help brokers collate relevant information to successfully package a case upfront"
The type of information that users can easily access includes title register, title number, and title plan.
The Land Registry search facility also allows users to obtain copies of title register and title plan and obtain a bankruptcy search on the client.
OMS covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance and protection.
It has currently integrated with six platforms - Iress, Twenty7Tec, iPipeline, Submissions Brain, SmartrFit and Knowledge Bank - to provide users with product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching.
Neal Jannels, managing director of OMS, commented: “The Land Registry search facility offers access to some important records which can help brokers collate relevant information to successfully package a case upfront, rather than potentially having to deal with a string of enquiries from lenders down the line.
“Being able to easily access this from within the OMS platform also means that all the relevant information can be stored in one place without users having to waste time and energy searching through different files and opening new browsers. Our aim is to make OMS the one-stop platform for brokers and these types of integrations will help make this journey a reality.”
