New AI-powered CRM system launches to brokers
Monicio says the next stage of mortgage technology should focus on connectivity rather than adding more standalone platforms.
A new AI-powered mortgage CRM platform has launched to advisers, combining client management, case management and automated workflows while connecting with specialist technology across the mortgage journey.
Monicio is positioning connectivity as one of the central principles behind its development, stating that while advisers have more technology available to them than ever before, "the growing number of systems being used across the mortgage journey may be creating a new problem".
It explained that advisers can regularly find themselves moving between email, CRM software, video meetings, sourcing platforms, client portals, document management systems and lead generation tools.
Monicio's aim is therefore to allow information captured at one stage of the client journey to be available at the next.
It added: "For example, client information collected during a meeting through Collibry can feed into Monicio. Lead information gathered through DealStream can follow the prospect into the CRM when they become an active client.
"The long-term objective is to continue connecting different adviser technologies so information can move through the mortgage journey with less manual intervention."
Ifthikar Mohamed, director of Mortgage AI Toolkit, commented: “I do not think mortgage advisers are asking for another ten pieces of software. They want the technology they already use to work together.
“One of the frustrations we experienced ourselves was constantly jumping from one system to another. You finish a client meeting in one platform, update the CRM somewhere else, check an email somewhere else and then move information into another system.
“Individually, those technologies might all be useful. The problem is what happens between them.
“The biggest opportunity for AI is not necessarily another chatbot or another isolated tool. The real opportunity is connecting the entire journey.
“If the information already exists somewhere in your business, an adviser should not have to type it again simply because they have moved into another piece of software.
“The objective is simple. Fewer systems to jump between, fewer duplicated tasks and more information flowing automatically.
“We want the technology to behave like an ecosystem rather than a collection of individual products.”
