As part of Legal & General Network’s recent change in direction, Finance Planning Group applied to go directly authorised in 2015 and finally went live on its chosen launch date of 6th April.
The Finance Planning Group is a mortgage and protection business, founded in 2000, and looks after 60 advisers.
In the last 10 years, the group has arranged over 36,000 mortgages and £6.2 billion of lending.
Terry McCutcheon, CEO of The Finance Planning Group, said that development of its advisers is key to FPG’s plans.
Speaking to Financial Reporter, McCutcheon said:
“We are really looking forward to being able to develop our business as a directly authorised firm. We’ve had a fantastic relationship with Legal & General over the last 16 years and we will be continuing to do business with them, but going directly authorised opens up far more opportunities for our advisers and our clients.”
