Jan Gallagher joins LendInvest's expanded mortgage team
LendInvest has appointed a new director of mortgage underwriting and expanded its regional sales team with the appointment of Vida's Jan Gallagher as a second BDM for the North West.
"Gene and Jan bring a wealth of experience in their respective areas to their teams"
Gene Clohessy will be leading the underwriting team with a focus on broker engagement, faster underwriting processes, and improved communication channels.
Gene has over 18 years’ experience in the sector and previously worked for a range of banks including Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Banks, and most recently Shawbrook Bank, where she was a senior divisional credit manager within the buy-to-let team.
Jan Gallagher has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry as both a broker and a BDM, and joins from Vida Homeloans where she was a sales manager. Jan has worked in a series of business development roles including regional sales manager for Foundation Home Loans and corporate sales manager for Masthaven.
Jan will work alongside existing BDM for the North West, Sophie Mitchell-Charman, who joined the business in 2017.
Ian Boden, sales director at LendInvest, commented: “It is always an exciting time when we are able to bring excellent people into the business, which is why we are particularly delighted to announce these two hires.
"Gene and Jan bring a wealth of experience in their respective areas to their teams; experience that will not only bolster our quality of origination in an area we are seeing a lot of demand, but also provide a superior, tailored experience for brokers and borrowers throughout the underwriting process.”
