Charles Haresnape to leave Aldermore
Aldermore has confirmed that its Group Managing Director, Charles Haresnape, is leaving the firm to join Gatehouse Bank - a Shariah Compliant Investment Bank based in London.
"Charles has been instrumental to the growth of our strong and profitable mortgages business and we wish him all the best for the future."
Aldermore says Haresnape will remain with the company whilst a replacement is found.
During his tenure at Aldermore the bank’s mortgage portfolio grew in excess of £5bn. Over his career Charles has worked in a number of senior lending roles, including at Royal Bank of Scotland where he headed mortgage intermediary sales for both the lender and NatWest for more than 10 years.
An Aldermore spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Charles Haresnape, group managing director of Mortgages has decided to pursue an opportunity outside the Bank.
“Charles has been instrumental to the growth of our strong and profitable mortgages business and we wish him all the best for the future. Charles will remain in the business whilst we search for his replacement, a process we have already begun.”
