Metro Bank expands invoice finance team
Vicky Jones-Ayre joins as relationship manager and Keith Godfrey starts as business development director.

Metro Bank has made two appointments to its invoice finance team. Vicky Jones-Ayre joins as a relationship manager for the South West region and Keith Godfrey as a business development director for Thames Valley, West London and South.
Vicky joins the Bank after over 17 years at Ultimate Finance, where she held a number of senior client-facing roles. Keith has worked in commercial finance for more than 25 years, most recently within head of sales roles with E-Capital, Calverton Finance and Data Interconnect.
Both roles will support the growth of Metro Bank’s invoice finance customer base and building the bank’s proposition further, with the aim to make it easier for businesses to apply and to manage their facilities.
Martyn Price, regional director for invoice finance at Metro Bank, commented: “This is such an exciting time to join the invoice finance team. Metro Bank has made a great impact since it entered the market ten years ago. Our store network and industry leading broker proposition have allowed us to grow in strength while supporting hundreds of businesses. I’m delighted to welcome both Vicky and Keith today."
Vicky Jones-Ayre said: “I’m really happy to be joining Metro Bank’s invoice finance team. Its commitment to customer service and face-to-face support mean it really stands out in the crowd.”
Keith Godfrey added: “Metro Bank’s friendly reputation and understanding of what its customers really need has been clear to see from day one and I’m delighted to join the team.”
