Leonard Curtis joins BDLA
The professional services group is adding restructuring and insolvency expertise to the bridging and development finance sector.
Leonard Curtis has joined the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) as an associate member, extending the trade body's professional services coverage within the bridging and development finance sector.
The UK professional services group provides restructuring and insolvency, funding, legal, and wider advisory services to business owners, lenders, investors, and advisers. It holds specialist experience across property and construction alongside a broader range of sectors.
The group recently launched its Property and Construction Quarterly Outlook report, which covers opportunities and issues affecting businesses, lenders, and stakeholders across the sector.
The BDLA is the UK's only trade association dedicated to bridging and development lenders and their customers. Its membership includes lenders and associate firms spanning funding, legal, valuation, technology, and professional services.
Adam Tyler, chief executive of the BDLA (pictured), said: "Leonard Curtis brings experience that is highly relevant to lenders, particularly when a business or property project faces financial pressure.
"Early advice and clear information are critical to protecting value and achieving the best possible outcome for all parties.
"Through its work across restructuring, funding, legal services and property and construction, Leonard Curtis will bring a broad and practical perspective to the Association. We're very pleased to welcome Phil and the team to the BDLA."
Phil Deyes, director at Leonard Curtis, added: "Our teams work closely with businesses, lenders and advisers, often in situations where decisions need to be made quickly and with a clear understanding of the wider position.
"Joining the BDLA offers us the opportunity to build closer relationships across the bridging and development finance sector and contribute to the wider conversation on the key issues and opportunities for the industry.
"We look forward to sharing our experience with fellow members and supporting the Association's focus on maintaining high professional standards."
