Total landlord insurance offers discounted tenant referencing
According to the latest figures from chartered surveyors Templeton LPA, there are currently 78,970 tenants in England and Wales who are in severe arrears with their rent.
To help landlords avoid being the victim of unpaid rent, Total Landlord Insurance is introducing a 25% discount off a full profile reference with their Tenant Referencing service.
Broking Manager, Steve Barnes, said:
“In the last few months we have seen our customers become increasingly concerned about their tenant’s ability to pay their rent in these financially troubling times. Therefore, we thought we would help out by offering a 25% discount on our full profile tenant reference.
This means landlords can verify their prospective tenant's financial circumstances and employment status without spending a fortune. By introducing the discounted tenant reference we aim to give landlords confidence that they have selected the right tenant and they are able to keep up with the rental payments”.
